I attended a sportscard convetion at the Bowling Green HotRods Ball Park where I had my own table, products, and cash on hand. My sister, Addy, attended the event with me and helped out. This took place on August 21, 2022.
I have created connections with various people and employees. From Dollar General employees that assist in securing certain re-sellable items to head sales executives of some of the biggest apps used in the card collecting community. I value networking with everyone. No person is better than another because everyone brings their own kind of value to the table.
From May 2024 to October 2024 I worked at the Boot Barn located in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This experience was great for helping me get comfortable talking to people as it was a sales commission based job. The more I sold, the more I made. I enjoyed this job as it was very laid back and based on how bad you wanted to increase your paycheck. I am a very motivated person so this was something that worked out perfectly with me for this job.
I have had customers like the one in this work sample, that are "highballers". People with a good chunk of change to spend on whatever good I am selling. For this customer they wanted a very rare Fortnite code. He ended up with a total of $5,400 USD (before tax). The only reason someone would trust spending that much with me is due to my flawless reviews on not only Ebay. But Instagram, Facebook, Whatnot, Telegram, and more. I am very transparent with my clients and customers as that builds trust and long lasting connections.
